Refund Policy

Version 2.0 · Effective 2026-07-19

In plain language: the checkout and merchant-of-record terms, mandatory law, and this Policy determine refunds. A completed refund can block future activations, but cannot remotely disable an existing offline installation or automatically restore permanently consumed seats.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to purchases of Kelavon Task Manager licenses and, where stated, separately quoted services. It supplements mandatory law, the checkout terms, and the merchant-of-record refund process.

2. Merchant-of-record process

Refund requests may be processed by the merchant of record identified at checkout and on the receipt. Follow its transaction instructions. Kelavon may supply product or usage information reasonably needed to evaluate the request.

3. Mandatory rights preserved

Nothing in this Policy excludes non-waivable rights concerning defective, misdescribed, or undelivered digital products. [RULES FOR EACH TARGET CONSUMER MARKET TO BE CONFIRMED BY COUNSEL.]

4. Standard eligibility window

[TO BE CONFIRMED: number of days, start event, consumer/business distinctions, and whether activation/use affects eligibility.]

5. Grounds commonly considered

Subject to the confirmed rules: non-delivery, duplicate purchase, wrong product/capacity purchased by obvious mistake, material defect that cannot be remedied reasonably, or statutory cancellation rights.

6. Non-qualifying reasons

Subject to mandatory law, a refund may be declined for change of mind outside the confirmed window; failure to review system requirements; an unsupported environment; desire for an unadvertised feature; customer-caused file loss; refusal to cooperate with reasonable troubleshooting; or use contrary to the EULA.

7. Defect-resolution process

For a claimed defect, Kelavon may request version/environment details and reproduction steps and may offer troubleshooting, a workaround, or a replacement installer before a refund where lawful and reasonable. Kelavon may also release an update at its discretion, but does not promise an update or correction. Mandatory remedies are not improperly delayed.

8. Duplicate and fraudulent transactions

Verified duplicate charges are corrected. Suspected fraud, stolen payment methods, or abusive chargebacks may be handled by the merchant of record and may lead to blocked new activations.

9. Custom work

Deposits, milestones, cancellation, acceptance, and refunds for custom work are defined in the separate quotation or services agreement. The standard Software refund policy does not automatically apply.

10. How to request

Use the support form, support@kelavon.com, or the merchant-of-record transaction portal. Provide order email, order/receipt reference, product, reason, and relevant troubleshooting details. Never send full card details.

11. Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment channel by the merchant of record. Timing depends on payment networks and financial institutions and is not guaranteed by Kelavon.

12. Taxes and exchange rates

Tax adjustment and currency conversion are handled under the merchant-of-record/payment rules. Differences caused by bank exchange rates or fees may be outside Kelavon's control, subject to law.

13. License consequences

After a full refund or reversed payment, the license may be marked invalid and future activations blocked. Refunded expansion capacity may be removed from the license record. Permanently consumed activation records are not represented as reusable seats. Any partial-refund effect is stated in the decision.

14. No remote revocation

Because activated installations work offline and do not re-check the license online, a refund does not remotely disable an already activated installation. This technical limitation does not grant legal permission to keep using refunded Software — the Customer must cease use and uninstall it when the license is terminated.

15. Chargebacks and disputes

Contact support before opening a dispute where practical. Nothing prevents lawful payment rights. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may violate the Terms and result in restrictions on new activations and future transactions.

16. Final review and contact

Every decision remains subject to mandatory law and the merchant-of-record process. Contact Denys Nalbat, trading as Kelavon, at support@kelavon.com; Mattackerstrasse 9, 8052 Zürich, Switzerland.
